Join the St Louis Aeropilots

 The amount of the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) insurance doubles as a member of a chartered club without any additional cost to you.

 Make new friends with a diverse group of people with the same interest.

 An annual BBQ in the fall with contests and a big raffle.

 A forum where you can ask "How To" and sometimes get several different ideas.

 An annual "Build a Plane Contest" for all levels.

 Meet the club flying instructors and get help in selecting equipment and learning.

You can become a member of the St Louis Aeropilots by being voted in during your first meeting.

Club dues are thirty ($30) dollars per calendar year. Renewals are delinquent after December 31st.

Children less than sixteen (16) years pay a $1.00 yearly membership when accompanied by a paid adult member.

The FAA requires all RC pilots to pass the T.R.U.S.T. safety test and all unmanned aircraft under 55lbs and above 250g must be registered.  (The FAA uses the term "Drone" to cover RC Aircraft as well as what we traditionally refer to Drones.)  More information on this Federal program can be found at https://faadronezone-access.faa.gov

As of January 2025 there is no permit required to fly at Buder Park, however St. Louis County is working on creating a permit for sometime in the future.
